Small update to this prototype. Not much change content-wise as it was mostly making things cleaner with proper menus, very basic QoL and some internal code structure changes to the code for the future.
Next focus will be on building interesting puzzles with the current mechanics & to improve the game’s graphics a bit.
Changelog
- Added a Level Selection Menu
- Removed the ‘campaigns’ for now. All levels are now within the same one, and the thing will come back for modding.
- Added one more simple puzzle.
- You now get a prompt telling you to Restart when stuck.
- Added empty spaces outside some levels instead of walls in certain levels.
- Added ‘cheats’ to skip or redo a level. This won’t stay, but make for easier testing.
- Added proper Settings.
- Changed the Font used in the Menus.
- Added basic SFX in the menus.
- Reworked the whole menu system. No visible differences, but it is quite more optimized and more practical to work with.
- Fixed the Level Name not disappearing when going back to menu through the Pause menu.
