Mostly a focus on graphics with a couple bug fixes.
Changelog
Gameplay
- Snakes don’t shrink to nothingness anymore but instead their dead head remain, acting as a wall. Doesn’t really change anything to gameplay as you can’t finish a level if you kill a snake.
- Fixed being able to loop directly after fusing two length 1 snakes. This specific bug was retroinduced a couple updates earlier upon doing some refactoring.
Graphics
- Snake’s graphics have been remade with the snake now having a head bigger than its body as well as being rounded. Still not 100% finished, but there’s the rough stuff.
- Adjusted lots of colors (walls, ground and fruits).
- Fruits that can be eaten a single time are now squared. This is to have a clear difference than just color between the different fruits. Fruits that can be eaten multiple times remain round.
- Fruits are now smaller overall.
- Vignetting is accentued when you’re in a Stuck state.
- Font used in the game has been changed to better match the style of the game. Only the logo remains with the old font for now.
Other
- Fixed camera sometimes unzooming if you were to move during the camera transition between menu & gameplay.
