Update #1 + Extra Levels

The first update for Snakeloop is out, with mostly improvements to the workshop support and fixes some issues with cloud saving.

Also, I released Snakeloop’s Extra Levels, a collection of 60 levels made during the development of the game and that weren’t kept. They can be found for free on both the Steam Workshop or on Itch.io’s download section.

Version d4 changelog

  • It is now possible to update existing Workshop Levels. (through uploading again the same mod)
  • First level of a mod will now be shown as the preview image in the Workshop.
  • Reworked Workshop Tags. Instead of “Single” & “Multiple” tags, there are now several tags based on the number of levels included within a mod : 1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-12 & 13+.
  • Fixed Cloud Saves not loading correctly for levels progression.
WebGL Demo wasn’t updated as none of the changes impact it.

Snakeloop’s Extra Levels (available on Workshop & Itch)

During the development of the game, a lot more levels were created than the 90 that are available in the game and there’s kinda no reason not to have them available for those who want some more levels to play.

So, I’ve released a collection of 60 levels that didn’t made the cut for the game on the workshop. It’s a mixed bad with both easy & hard levels alike and both original levels and variants of ones featured in the game.

For Steam users, they’re available on the Steam Workshop: Snakeloop’s Extra Levels on the Workshop.
For non-Steam users, you can find them directly in the download section on Itch.

To add them to your game, you can refer to the beginning of the Modding Guide on Steam (it contains instructions for both Steam & non-Steam modding): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3447932578
