This week’s update follows last week’s addition of the Score system by bringing an online leaderboard to compete against others. The other major new content of this update is new upgrades to further improve your balls and go further in the waves.

Changes since Prototype 8

Feature : Online Leaderboards

• Added Online Leaderboards.
• Added a Leaderboard Menu where you can see the top 100.
• Added a name input on Game Over to Submit your Score. As there’s no login system, users are only tracked through this name)
• Added the current top 10 to the end screen.

Feature : Special Balls’ Tier 2 Upgrades

• Special Balls can now be upgraded once.
• Each kind of Ball has their own upgrade (ie. Explosive Ball -> Bigger Explosion Range).
• Those upgrades are only available once you’ve upgraded a normal ball to special ball.

Balance

• Decreased Number of Lines per Wave from 34+6xWave to 35+5xWave.
• Increased Bricks’ Health from 1+0.35xWave to 1+0.38xWave.
  Right now, the game is roughly balanced for ~15-16 Waves.

Other

• Fixed some VFX (like explosions) going through the game area’s walls.
• Fixed Ball Damage & Ball Speed upgrades’ description still mentioning “future Balls” when they apply to all.
